General Information

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Thank you for choosing our office for your dental needs. We realize that every person’s financial situation is different. For this reason, we have worked hard to provide a variety of payment options to help you receive the dental care you need and deserve that allows you to enjoy a healthy, beautiful smile with respect to your budget.

The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment, and the restorative needs (fillings, posts, etc.) your dentist requests.  During your first visit we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved.  Endodontic fees usually range from $800 to $1,500 and we ask that your care is paid for at the time of treatment.

For your convenience, we gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Cards, Cash, and Personal Checks.  We are also pleased to offer both Care Credit and the Citi Health Card to help you finance your investment in your teeth.  Our office offers 6 months No Interest payment plans for those who qualify.  Please click on either logo to apply.

INSURANCE

IN-NETWORK INSURANCE

Apex Endodontics is a preferred provider for Delta Dental.  However, we will be glad to prepare and submit dental insurance claims, and/or assist in making insurance collections, for all our patients with insurance benefits.  Please note that your dental benefits are based upon a contract made between your employer and an insurance company.  We will do our very best to verify your insurance benefits prior to treatment, but if you have any questions regarding your dental benefits please contact your employer or insurance company directly.  Because dental insurance companies will often not divulge patient’s personal insurance arrangements, Apex Endodontics can only estimate benefits to be paid.  Please be advised that it is your (the patient’s) responsibility to contact your insurance company to verify your coverage with our office.  When claims are denied, patients must provide to this office insurance documentation before additional insurance collection efforts can be made.  In the meantime, the patient, or the responsible party, remains responsible for payment for all dental services. If insurance does not pay within 30 days, Apex Endodontics will request payment in full for services from you and let you collect the insurance funds that are due to you. This is rare but it is important that you recognize that the insurance you have is a legal contract between YOU and YOUR insurance company. Our office is not, and cannot be a part of that legal contract. Ultimately, you are responsible for all charges incurred in our office.

OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE

We offer two options for our out-of-network insurance patients.

1).  You can simply pay in full for services rendered.  Apex Endodontics will submit your dental insurance claim and your insurance company will reimburse you directly.

2).  For your convenience, we can submit your insurance claim and accept the assignment of benefits directly to our office.  Because dental insurance companies will often not divulge patient’s personal insurance arrangements, Apex Endodontics can only estimate benefits to be paid.  Therefore, we simply ask that you pre-authorize a credit card when you come in, and we process only the unpaid balance after we receive your insurance payment.   If insurance does not pay within 30 days, Apex Endodontics will process the unpaid balance and let you collect the insurance funds that are due to you.  We want to assist you in maximizing your dental benefits, and this allows you the opportunity to minimize your out of pocket investment.
