"I can honestly say that having a root canal was not something I was looking forward to.  I can also say that each time I was in your office for the consultation and the root canal, all the staff was very friendly and courteous and patient.  If there was something I didn't quite understand, they took the time to explain it to me again.  On the day of my root canal, I told the assistant that I was cold, and she graciously offered me a blanket, which was totally unexpected; I thought that was really cool.  Dr. Budig and his assistant worked together like a "well oiled machine," they were very professional and caring and humorous as well.  I appreciate what all the entire staff did to make my experience very pleasant." Thanks for all you did to make my appt. as comfortable as possible and for being understanding of my anxiety after a couple of horrible experiences elsewhere.  Your office empowered me to realize that I shouldn't have to let someone drill on my tooth when I am not numb, that THEY should work UNTIL they have numbed it before they drill.  Although I hate the shots themselves, they are nothing compared to prolonged excruciating pain while someone drills on your tooth that is not numb.  I like the way Dr. Budig stated it, "You are the boss and I don't work on someone who is not numb.  We will work with you until you ARE numb."  Also he listened to my concerns about my claustrophobia and trouble breathing with that latex shield in my mouth covering my nose and just quickly solved that completely by cutting an area out to let me breathe easily.  THANKS to all who were so caring and comforting....from the person answering the phone to Sharan giving me a blanket to keep me warm.  Your office was wonderful and I was so amazed that swishing cold water that night after brushing there was NO pain. The only "recovery" seems to be the sore jaw from being open but that is slowly subsiding.  The wonderful part is the toothache and sharp pains are totally gone!  Thanks to a job well done!   Melissa S.

Amazing staff! This was my first root canal and I had heard horror stories but I walked away with nothing but high remarks! Since I first stepped through the front office door I felt very welcomed and being nervous this helped tremendously! Filling out the paperwork online saved so much time before the procedure. I was in the waiting room MAYBE three minutes before being called back by Dr Budig's assistant. Again I was met with another great staff member who listened and shared small talk to put me at ease. Once Dr Budig came in, within one minute into our conversation I knew I was in good hands. His number one priority is to make sure that you're comfortable and in no pain. The procedure took about 45 minutes to an hour, my mouth was numb the entire time and experienced no pain whatsoever. I just recommended them to my supervisor who is going to get a root canal in a couple weeks, I feel confident that she would find just as much trust, security and confidence in choosing Dr Budig for the procedure! I am a Physician and I know a thing or two about Professionalism in a Practice. In this regard, Dr. Budig and staff get an A+. I called in, in pain and the first compliment is to Jo at the front desk in that she worked with me in evaluating my insurance plan and finding a way to get me into their schedule right away. She emailed me all the required forms so that I could fill them out online and therefore when I arrived everything was ready to go and approved. The next compliment goes to Sharan, who assisted Dr. Budig. Sharan did a great job taking fabulous care of me, helping me know what to expect. She was fast, efficient and very well organized. So the greatest compliment goes to Dr. Budig. As a Microsurgeon myself, I also work through an Operating Microscope. Dr. Budig explained the procedure to me and made me feel extremely at ease and well informed. During the root canal, Sharan anticipated what the Doctor needed and had it ready for him even before he asked for it. This made the total procedure time much shorter. The anesthetic allowed me to be very comfortable and have no pain. I have nothing but the highest compliments for the entire staff and it is my understanding that this is way they treat everyone which explains why the office is so busy with highly satisfied patients. Hello Dr. Budig and Staff, I wanted to send an e-mail to update you on my root canal that you performed last week.  I was quite concerned because of the stigma that root canals get with regard to pain but I have to say that your procedure did not cause me pain and I didn't even have to take any aspirin or ibuprofen after the procedure.  The only trouble (if you can call it that) is that I had trouble drinking immediately afterwards because I was still numb.  It felt pretty wierd.  :)  Thank you for taking something that made me nervous and making it the best experience having work done in my mouth could have been.  I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving holiday and thanks for giving me the opportunity to enjoy eating my Thanksgiving meal.  I will definitely refer you to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you, Deb S.
